This Privacy Policy covers figur.fit, Figur’s business-to-business services for fashion brands, and the Figur try-on widget embedded on merchants’ Shopify storefronts — including the photo a shopper uploads to try a product on. How that photo is handled is described in Section 5 (Photo & Image Handling). If you use the consumer Figur mobile app (iOS or Android), see the Mobile App Privacy Policy — it covers personal data processed in that app, including photos, AI try-on outputs, and in-app purchases.

2. Introduction

Your privacy matters to us. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the figur.fit website and our business-to-business services for fashion brands (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

3. Information We Collect

For brand customers using figur.fit and our B2B services, we collect the following types of information:

a. Brand and merchandiser account information

• Name, business email, brand name, and role
• Account credentials and authentication tokens
• Payment details (processed via secure third-party gateways — we do not store full card information)

b. Catalog and product content you upload

• Garment images, product imagery, and SKU metadata
• Catalog files, descriptions, and brand assets

c. Automatically collected data

• Cookies and analytics data (via tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar)
• Dashboard interaction logs and API usage telemetry

d. Shopper try-on photos (Shopify storefront widget)

• A photo a shopper voluntarily uploads to the Figur try-on widget on a merchant’s Shopify store, used solely to generate a virtual try-on image. The uploaded photo is not stored — see Section 5 for exactly how it is handled.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate our AI styling and try-on services
• Manage your account and process transactions
• Communicate updates, offers, and support messages
• Ensure compliance with laws and platform integrity

5. Photo & Image Handling (AI Try-On)

When a shopper uses the Figur try-on widget on a merchant’s storefront — or when a brand uploads catalog imagery — the image is processed by AI models on Figur’s servers and by third-party AI providers, currently Google and OpenAI, to generate the try-on result.

• The shopper’s uploaded photo is not stored. It is held only in memory for the moments needed to generate the try-on image, then discarded. We do not retain it.
• Only the generated try-on image is stored, and only for up to 30 days, after which it is deleted.
• No model training. Uploaded photos and generated images are never used to train AI models.
• We do not sell or share these images with advertisers or external agencies.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Figur uses cookies and similar technologies to:

• Maintain login sessions
• Analyze traffic and improve user experience
• Personalize content and suggestions

You can manage cookie settings in your browser, but disabling cookies may limit certain features.

7. Sharing of Information

We may share data only with:

• Trusted vendors or service providers (e.g., payment gateways, AI model APIs, hosting partners) under confidentiality agreements.
• Regulatory authorities when required by law or legal request.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for:

• Delivering the Service
• Legal, accounting, or audit requirements

Shopper-uploaded try-on photos are not stored. Generated try-on images are deleted within 30 days. Brand-uploaded catalog imagery is retained only as long as needed to provide the Service.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures such as:

• Encrypted HTTPS communication
• Restricted access to internal systems
• Secure cloud storage and environment isolation

However, no online platform is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

10. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023, you have the right to:

• Access and request copies of your data
• Correct or update inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent and delete your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

11. International Data Transfers

If you use Figur outside India, your data may be transferred and processed in countries where our servers or partners operate. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed toward children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available at https://figur.fit/privacy. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
